Dominic Michael Minidis of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 23, passed away peacefully after a long battle with ALS on January 26, 2020 surrounded by love. He was born to Joy Minidis and George Marsala on May 15, 1996 at Hackley hospital in Muskegon, Michigan. In his short 23 years, Dominic enjoyed playing football, gaming, watching movies, history, music, food, basketball, hockey, Star Wars and his beloved dog, Skye Rose. Dominic is survived by his mother, Joy Minidis, father, George Marsala, grandparents, Dennis Minidis, Cynthia (Lynn) Marschner, uncles and aunts, Christian (Lorie) Minidis, Andrew (Dawn Huss) Minidis, cousins, Cameron Minidis, Nicholas Minidis, Nathan Minidis and many other extended family members. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the wonderful staff at Spectrum Health-Butterworth hospital for their care and compassion during Dominic's illness. A Celebration of Life will take place at Daybreak Church, 3501 Baldwin St. Hudsonville, Michigan on February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Kris Dekker presiding.
