Dolores "Dana" Marie Ziebarth, went home on August 24, 2018. Born March 8, 1929, Elkhart Indiana to Rosaline Belle Vickers, Harry Cecil Shultz Jr. Dana is survived by her sister: Carlye Ann Reimer. Her children, Cathy Ann Schmitt (Joseph C. Schmitt), Tracy Asah, David Ziebarth (Rebecca Ziebarth) of Rochester, NY. Her Grandchildren: Dr. Joey Schmitt, James Schmitt, John Schmitt, Rhiannon Schmitt (McCalmont), Charles Asah, Isaiah Asah, Alexander Ziebarth, and Emily Ziebarth as well as three Great-Grandchildren! Dana was born in Elkhart Indiana and attended Elkhart High School, 1947 and Art School at Ray-Vogue Art School, Chicago, 1949. She began her career in advertising before starting a family, she married Charles William Ziebarth (passed 1993), in 1960. Her first marriage was to Richard Frederick Rericha (passed 1957). Dana lived in Rockford Michigan for most of her life where she enjoyed practicing her Art and raising her family. Dana was a master artist and treasured the beauty around her. She loved painting and teaching especially watercolors, she also mastered portraiture. She studied Art in Europe and around the country from with various Master Artists. Dana spent a lifelong career creating and selling her Art throughout Michigan. She shared her artistry and knowledge by teaching many people throughout her life. Dana's personal library was filled with her art books as well as her ubiquitous self-help books. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Dana attended Unity Church in Grand Rapids for many years.
