Dee Wingard had a love of life that was unsurpassed. She loved to laugh and did so often with great joy. She lived her life with two priorities: family and fun. She was always ready for a boat ride, didn't matter too much where it was going or for how long. She loved the water and all its wonders. Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan were part of her soul. She was an artist that filled her home and many others with scenes of beaches, Big Red, Central Park Chapel, boats, tulips, and so much more. She loved playing cards and games, whether it was another hand of cribbage at her table or hours upon hours of party bridge at Evergreen Commons. More than all, she loved and lived unabashedly on her own terms, fiercely independent until her last days.

Dolores May Moomey Wingard was almost 88 years old when passed peacefully in her home April 9, 2025, surrounded by her family, a gift she was surely grateful for.

She is survived by her three children, Kirk Wingard (Jennifer), Ken Wingard (Sonja), and Kathryn Mitchell (Robert).  She had five grandchildren and two great grandkids that she loved with an unconditional force: Emma Wingard, Angela Wingard, Frances Mitchell, Liam Mitchell, and Amber Wingard (Timothy) who gave her two great grandsons (Isaac and Nathaniel).
