Diane Schrader of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 58, passed away on February 15, 2020. She was born on September 7, 1961, now joining her parents, Jerry and Dawn Newton. Diane is survived by her sisters, Debra Schrader, Donna (Gerald) Carver and Melody Newton; her stepbrothers, John Newton and Jerry Newton; her nephews, Jesse (Stacey) Carver and Clint (Nikki) Carver; great-nephews Kyson and Colt Carver and uncle Eddie (Evelyn) Newton. Diane worked at Benteler Automotive for 25 years. She enjoyed working there as well as the friendships that were made through the years. She had a good sense of humor and really enjoyed making people laugh. Her hobbies included garage sales, flea markets, reading, bingo, and playing the lotto. She never hit the big jackpot, but not for lack of effort. She loved her cats. Diane will be missed very much. The funeral service for Diane will be celebrated by Pastor Sean Kidd at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
