Diane Frances Boers, 78, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, made her way to Heaven on November 10, 2025.

Diane was born on December 10, 1946, in Newark, New York, the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys Ryckbost.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, John, and her beloved children Sonya (Jack) DeJong, Doug (Allison) Boers and her grandchildren, Trevor, Reuben, and Logan. In addition, she leaves behind her siblings Donna Achterhof, Bill (Diane) Ryckbost, John (Kathy) Ryckbost, Tom (Amy) Ryckbost, and brothers and sisters-in-law Art (Nancy) Bowers, Ted (Jan) Boers, Willy (Rick) Pegelo, Jack (Hilly) Boers, and Anne (John) Vanderlaan. Diane is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Steven John Boers, her father and mother and her parents-in-law Leen and Willy Boers and brother-in-law, Ken Achterhof.

A Memorial Service for Diane will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Sunshine Community Church, 3019 Coit, NE Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Her family invites you to visit with them from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue, SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 and from 1:00 pm until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
