Desdamona "Desi" D. Frede of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 43, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was born to Scott and Garnet Frede on August 24, 1977, in Freemont, Michigan, the second oldest of her four siblings.

She loved to be with family and friends, but most of all, her five grandchildren. In Desi's free time, she loved going to the beach, reading books, listening to music, and watching Star Wars.

She is survived by her mother and father; aunts and uncles; seven children; five grandchildren; as well as her sisters and brothers.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.
