On Monday, December 12th, Dennis John Wilholt, aged 73, of Wyoming, MI, shuffled off this mortal coil. Born to Martin and Lillian Wilholt, Dennis graduated in 1967 from Comstock Park High School and later worked as a mail carrier for the US postal service for 30 years. Dennis was known for his acerbic wit and eclectic music taste. He enjoyed collecting vinyl records, and once went by the moniker "Whitelegs" on a local community radio show. He was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs and would often make the pilgrimage to Wrigley Field with friends and family in tow. In his later years, Dennis made many new friends playing in local pub trivia games. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sisters Mary Ella Fron and Virginia Fluegge, and his beloved canine companion Cubbie. He is survived by his sons Martin (Liz) and Nathan (Megan), granddaughter Marnie, sister Shirley (Lloyd) Seeley, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, December 18th from 3-5 PM at Ofield Funeral Home.
