Dennis Peckhem (59) Dennis Peckhem of Kalamazoo, passed away on December 5, 2015 at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Dennis was born on November 19, 1956 to Dorothy (Snay) and Woodrow Peckhem Sr. Dennis grew up and remained in Kalamazoo. On October 22, 1977, Dennis married his soulmate, Eileen Parrish. Dennis was always known for giving little surprises to everyone he loved and he saved the best surprise for last, he joined his wife in heaven on her birthday. Dennis was proceeded in death by his wife, both parents and sister Dorothy Peckhem. He is survived by his 4 sisters, Nancy Blanchard, Patricia Peckhem, Sandra Knowlton, Sharon Peckhem, his 2 brothers, Robert Peckhem, Woodrow Peckhem Jr., his 5 daughters, Tracy (Scott) Hines, Nancy Potratz, Cathryn Peckhem, Jamey Peckhem, Jennifer Peckhem, his 12 grand children, Isaac Potratz, Caitlyn Hines, Mark Seay, Alexis Potratz, Alivia Peckhem, Ian Hines, Asia Dickson, Rebekah Autrey, Madison Autrey, Kayleena Todd, Kenden Todd, Lylah Ruiz and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Party will be held on December 9, 2015 from 2pm-8pm at the VFW Post 1920 E. Kilgore Service Rd, Portage Mi.
