Dennis "Denny" William O'Dell, age 78, died Friday, October 11, 2024 in Grand Rapids, MI. Denny was born on July 24, 1946 in Detroit, MI to Stephen and Vera O'Dell. He was a proud graduate of Hartland High School and even prouder member of the United States Air Force.

Denny was whip smart, a deep thinker, honest, and a true "they don't make 'em like that anymore" kind of guy. Denny's family and friends will hold memories of him tinkering on his various cars and boats, practicing his swing at the driving range, and laughing heartily, quite possibly at something a little inappropriate.

Denny was a treasured son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and cousin. He is survived by his brother Stephen "Terry", sister Kimberly, son Shane, daughter-in-law Amy, stepdaughter Amanda, son-in-law Jason, and grandchildren Lucy, Franklin, Vander, Eliza, and Jasper. A special thank you to Dianne Birchmeier for her companionship and caregiving.
