Dennis Mack, beloved father, grandfather, husband and friend passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Ironwood, Michigan and attended St. Ambrose Catholic High School. He later spent 25 years working at Consumers Energy, where he built lasting friendships and a career he could be proud of.

He had a true zest for life. He loved barefoot water skiing with the Skiing Skeeters and spending time on the water at Manitowish Waters aboard his beloved red boat. Dennis also had a passion for cooking and was known as a true grill master, always enjoying the opportunity to fire up the grill and share a good meal with family and friends.

Music was another important part of his life. He knew how to have a good time, especially when he was behind his drums, playing with his bands, The Dragsters and The Zoo. He also loved playing foosball and enjoyed the friendly competition so much that he competed in foosball tournaments, always bringing that same enthusiasm to cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bridget; his children, Laurel (Tyler) and Kaitlyn (JR); and his grandchildren, Bronce, Brexton, and Lucille.

He is also survived by his brother, Gary (Sara); nephews Joshua and Zachary (Megan); as well as his extended family. He was a loving presence in the lives of his stepchildren, George, Troy (Tasha), Nicole (Richard), and his step-grandchildren, Isabel, Emma, Abby, Colton, Lincoln, Ruby, Boden, and Kaia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Senator Joseph and Marion Mack.

Those who knew him will remember his deep love for family, adventurous spirit, dry sense of humor and competitive nature. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, music, good food, and countless cherished memories that will live on through the many lives he touched.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family will share official details once arrangements are finalized.
