Dennis Dwight Kole, 74, passed away Thursday March 23rd 2017 in Grand Rapids. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Frances, children; Jeff, Rick (Lydia), Lance"Bill" (Barb), step-children; Harlan (Vonda)Tollefson, Dawn (Edward) Robillard, Todd (Jill) Tollefson, Erica Nelson, Wendy (David) Goodreau, siblings; Ken, Jack (Shirley), Vera Baareman, and many cherished grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Dennis found great joy in spending time with his family. He loved hunting and fishing, taking many trips to Canada, Montana, and UP. After retirement from Spoolstra Pools he focused his love of hunting in the Bitely area with his boys. Dennis honored his country by serving in the Army (1960-1964). Dennis' personalized sense of humor and wit will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service for Dennis will be held on Monday at 11am at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE in Kentwood, the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service starting on Monday.
