Dennis Johnson, age 81 of Grandville, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  He was an Air Force veteran, whose 22-year career took him around the world.  In Taiwan, he met his wife, Su-Lan, who survived him and to whom he was married for 50 years.  He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Mindi Johnson, and two grandsons, Oren and Evan Johnson.  He was blessed to have had a very close relationship with his two grandsons, and he was very proud of them.

There will be a brief time of visitation from 10:00am to11:00am on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500  Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508.  There will be a funeral service and military honors to recognize Dennis at 11:00am (immediately following the visitation) at Pine Hill Cemetery, 1102 52nd St., Kentwood, Michigan 49508.
