Dennis "Denny" Hill age 74 passed away May 24th, 2023.  He was born in St. Joseph, MI on June 10, 1948 to Marshall and Angela Hill.  He married Rhonda in September of 1968, together they spent 54 years enjoying family, friends, and many adventures together.  Denny joined the US Army in 1968 serving as an MP overseas.  He was a member of the American Legion in every city he lived in after leaving the Army.

Denny was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at the lake.  He also enjoyed playing softball and bowled on a regular basis in his younger years.  His family meant the world to him and you would often see him at the grill or in the garden during the summer months.  He deeply loved his brothers.  Oftentimes, you'd find them in the woods together, on the stream trout fishing, or enjoying a multitude of other activities.

Dennis is survived by his wife Rhonda; brothers Bruce (Debra) Hill and Norm (Valerie) Hill; daughter Carrie (Jeff Orr) Hill, son Jay Hill; grandchildren Brittany (Adam) Hurley, Kyle Toft, Mallory Hill, Myria Moore, Clarissa Moore, Karleigh Orr, and Whitney Hill; great grandchildren Tyler Hurley, Lexi Hurley, and Emma Flintoff.  He was preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Angela Hill.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to the various Corewell Healthcare teams that have touched our lives over the last few months. There will be a memorial and dinner Friday June 16, 2023 from  5 pm to 7 pm  to celebrate his life at Glen Hill Post 287, American Legion 91 S 1st St, Cedar Springs MI 49319
