April 23, 2014 Service: May 2, 2014 Dennis "Denny" Damuth Dennis John Damuth, age 62, of Bitely, Michigan passed away on April 23, 2014. He was born on July 21, 1951 in Grand Rapids, graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and Grand Valley State University and spent most of his life in Grand Rapids before moving to Bitely in 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Damuth, and his brother, Gary Damuth. He is survived by his mother, Mary Damuth; by his children, Rob (Nikki) Damuth, Amanda (Eian) Gilbert, and Tom (Laurie) Damuth; along with his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Elias, Alice, Luci and Griffin; his brothers, Mike, Don and Ron, his sister, Patty, and many nieces and nephews Denny was a veteran of the Army and the Vietnam War and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his service, of which he was very proud. He was also very proud of his children. A visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 11-1pm at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids.
