Deneen Latrice Donaldson of Grand Rapids, MI gained her wings Sunday May 2, 2021 at age 55. Born June 14, 1965 to Floyd E. Donaldson Sr. of Gary, IN and Brenda L. Donaldson of Bangor, MI.

Deneen was the oldest of five children and later moved to Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Ottawa Hills High School active in girls' basketball, track and Upward Bound. In 1983 she got her high school diploma. Then she attended Albion College, later attending Davenport University, where she received her Associate Degree in 2018 and Bachelor Degree in 2021 in Business Administration with a minor in Management with Honors. Deneen hobbies included bowling for 32 years, traveling, playing cards games, and crocheting. Deneen was heavily involved in serving her community, as well as a stewardess, choir member, and usher at First Community AME church. Deneen truly had a heart of gold, she was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that was in need.

Deneen is survived by her awesome loving children Augustus Donaldson (34), Aonanna Jordan (31), Aliyah Walker (26); Grandchildren Jayant Williams (11), Jeremiah Williams (10) and Jurne Robinson (6); Loving parents, Floyd E. Donaldson Sr. and Brenda L. Donaldson. Grandparent June Donaldson of Tennesse. 3 siblings Floyd E. Donaldson Jr. (Melaine), Daniel Donaldson (Kristina) and Brandon Stubbs (Marlene) of Gary, IN. A significant friend Vernon Reynolds and a host of family and friends. Proceed in death by her brother Alonzo J. Donaldson.
