Debra Jo (Nyenhuis) Essenburg, born April 17, 1958 to Edward and Karen (Heydenburg) Nyenhuis, now both deceased, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus, on September 16th, 2021.

Debra was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great-great, aunt. She loved her family. She was passionate about her arts and crafts, had an admiration for gardens, and was an avid book reader. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Lorraine (Mayberry) Nyenhuis, a woman who loved her as if she birthed her; siblings, Rick and Maureen Nyenhuis, Susan and Phil Geysbeek, Kimberly Cleveland, Scott Nyenhuis, Michelle Mayberry, Diane Parks, and Angela and Michael Watkins; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at Oak Hill Church, 1930 Leonard St. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI., 49505 on Saturday October 2nd at 11:30 am with a luncheon to follow.
