Obituary

Deb Olson, a strong-spirited mother, partner, and passionate supporter of the Cedar Springs community, exhaled her final breath peacefully on September 30, 2020.

Deb was born December 9, 1956 to Marjorie (Black) Doyle and the late James Doyle. Deb leaves behind compassionate family, partner Steve Olson, oldest daughter Novia Moser, sister Sandy (George) Waite and sister Kathy (David) Travillian, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren!

Deb enjoyed spoiling loved ones with her delicious food creations, some of the most detailed cakes and desserts you've ever seen. She loved to snuggle her beloved fur-baby kitties, knitted several gifts for family, quilted with fervor and is lovingly known as an all-around 'Crafty B'.

She was a sarcastic firecracker, interjecting many Euchre games with quick satirical whips and we all will miss the energy she brought to our lives.

The family will be hosting Celebration of Life at Cedar Springs Christian Church, 350 West Pine Street, Saturday Oct 10 between 1-4pm. Cider, donuts and coffee will be provided. CSCC staff has advised that masks are still required, smoking is prohibited on premises. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be sent to Northland Animal Hospital in Rockford. Service Details.
