Deborah Lou Sedlacek Claypool

Deborah passed away quietly after a short, valiant battle against leukemia, surrounded by loved ones.

Graduating from Ferris State College with an associate's degree, Deb later worked for 24 years at Butterworth Hospital in the pharmacy department, retiring seven years ago.

Deb and her husband Richard, her college sweetheart, were just shy of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, scrapbooking, cooking, trying new recipes and spending time with her grandchildren at her home on Clifford Lake..

Deborah is survived by her husband, Richard Claypool, children Eric Claypool, Heather Claypool, and Megan Vetitoe, grandchildren Emmet and Abigail Vetitoe, brother Matthew McManus, and sister Holly McManus.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for September 12th at 2pm at 3385 3 Mile Road NE, Grand Rapids 49525, at her daughter Megans house.
