Deanna VanManen, 63, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, reuniting with her husband Jeff. We find solace that she is at rest after a long struggle. She was a lifelong resident in Grand Rapids and enjoyed arts & crafts, games and family get-togethers.

She is survived by her children, Jeff, Michael (Brittany), and Scott VanManen; her grandson Booker VanManen; her father Dave (Sally) Jeltema; her brothers Dave and Denny (Kim) Jeltema; her father-in-law Jack VanManen as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life was held with close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to her favorite charity, Kids Food Basket.
