December 18, 2011 Deanna Lee Klaasse, age 71, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Born February 12, 1940 to Ray and Edna Smith in Alma, MI. Deanna was a registered nurse with a career for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George Klaasse. Surviving are her ex-husbands, Thomas Schmidt and Donald Robinson; her children, Scott (Rhonda) Klaasse, Staci Klaasse, and Steven (Darla) Klaasse; sister, Sandra (Ronald) Eberspeaker and brother, Rex (Kathy) Smith. Also surviving are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. As per her wishes, she has been cremated and will be quietly put to rest by her family at a graveside memorial service at Riverside Cemetery in Alma, MI at a future date. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
