Deanna (Howard) Bolt. Born on November 30, 1962 to Ed and Anne Howard. She was the youngest of four girls, the Howard sisters, Debbie, Denise, Donna and Deanna, also known as "The Four D's". DeeDee's wit and humor brought much joy and endearment to family and friends all through her life. Graduated from St. Agatha, Class of 1980. Deanna is preceded in death by her Mother and Father. In 1997 Deanna married the love of her life, Jim Bolt and made her home in Holland, Michigan where she has resided since. She loved living on the west side of the state and especially being near the water on Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. Deanna lost Jim in 2005 and never forsake her love for him. Although they never had children, they were enamored with their Cocker Spaniels "Baby" who died not long after Jim, and "Missy" her counterpart. Our sister DeeDee had many friends and loved having her famous "Dee Camp" where she opened her home to family and close friends for fun filled weekends over the years. She loved her nieces and nephews, and would always prepare a special treat or gift for them when they came to visit, just as her Mom would have done. She loved shopping and was always dressed to the "nines"! The year 2009 brought a diagnosis of breast cancer after a lump was discovered. She underwent a lumpectomy, radiation and chemotherapy. She was given a clean bill of health and made a full recovery. She most recently had achieved full time status at the Holland City Hall and was so happy to be there. DeeDee was called back to the Lord after suffering from Metastatic Breast Cancer diagnosed in September of this year. Her beauty and wisdom have left us holding on to the memories we shared with her throughout her short life. Beloved sister of Deborah (Leo) Paparelli, Denise (David Healy) Peraino, and Donna (Mark) Modras. Daughter of the late Elizabeth Ann and Edwin Howard. Loving aunt of Lisa, Leo, Ann Marie, Nicole, Jamie, Jennifer Mason, David, Megan, and Matthew. Great aunt of Ella, Antonio, Madeline, Matteo, and Addison. Dear niece of Margaret Ellen Hebestriet. Memorial Visitation Thursday, October 22nd from 3 pm until 8 pm with 6 pm Service at Charles Step Funeral Home, 18425 Beech Daly Rd. (between 6 & 7 Mile) in Redford.
