David "Dave" Mark Theule, age 68, passed away December 5th, 2021 peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

While spending his time with family, Dave loved playing games, listening to music, and watching silly videos while sneaking treats to his grandchildren. It was clear laughter was his love language. He had a passion for pets. Dave loved playing with his three dogs, two cats, and fostering animals for the human society. As an outdoorsman, Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and driving the open road to enjoy God's beauty in nature. He certainly enjoyed his wife's home cooked meals but was not shy around the grill himself. In his free time, Dave enjoyed community interests and actively volunteered for local ministries.

Dave is survived by his wife Gwynn Theule, daughters April McGaughey & Crystal (Alan) Brower, brothers Doug (Sharon) & Gary (Julie) Theule, sister Lisa (Pete) VandenBerg and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Ruth Theule and brother Theodore Theule.

The Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, December 10 at Vineyard Church North, 4700 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends one hour prior to the service. Meal will proceed service. Service Details.
