David Schreur, aged 80, went to be with his Savior on Saturday, August 22, 2015. He is survived by his wife Gertrude and children Victoria Kool and Jack Kool, Mark and Lori Schreur, Jim and Sandy Schreur, Lynda and Mike Bredeweg, and Greg and Kristen Schreur, as well as eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings Don and Loie Schreur, Ted and Geri Schreur, Marilyn Lantay, and Ruth Diepenhorst. Preceded in death by parents George and Wilhelmina Schreur and brother-in-law Ed Diepenhorst. David taught at Byron Center Christian School for thirty-nine years. Visitation will be held at Second Christian Reformed Church in Byron Center, Michigan (7588 Byron Center Ave SW), on Tuesday, August 25 from 5-8 o'clock, and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Byron Center Christian School.
