David Boeing Rose of Spring Lake, Michigan passed away and went to be with his
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 85.

David was born to Melvin and Leola
Rose of Muskegon, Michigan. He was the second of 5 sons. His siblings were
Douglas, Melvin, Steven (sole surviving), and Leland. He was a graduate of
Coopersville High School, class of 1955. He married Dorothy Jean Millen on March
21, 1959, they were blessed with nearly 65 years of marriage.

He is survived by wife Dorothy, 3 sons, and a daughter, David (Laura), Johnathan (Donna), Susan, and
Andrew (Teri), and 33 grandchildren (steps and adopted). He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel.

He was beloved by his whole family, and he shared many memorable moments
with them. He was known as a giving father, who had unconditional love for his
family. He worked for many companies as a certified tool and die maker. He
retired at the age of 70 with over 50 years of experience. He had a few hobbies.
He had 40 years of experience as a square dance caller and taught many people
how to square dance. It was one of his passions in life to share his gift for calling
with others. He also had an affinity for tractors. He would use them to give his
grandchildren rides. He was also a big fan of trying to find a bargain at any flea market, when they were available.

David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

There will be a memorial service held for David on Saturday, March 9th at
Emmanuel Free Church
