IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Harold
Rodgers Jr.
January 28, 1942 – February 12, 2014
February 12, 2014 David Harold Rodgers, Jr. born January 28, 1942 died February 12, 2014: David has left for his next journey to join family and friends who have been anxiously awaiting his arrival. He was a truck driver for 50 years and driving cross-country seemed to feed his wanderlust soul. David could rival the best of fishermen with a tale that even those who were there would be on the edge of their seats to know what happened next. He joined the army at 15 years old and drove a tank even though he was just a kid at the time. He will be remembered well by all and missed by all that loved him. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Judy, his sister Annie (Robert) Evarett, his Brothers-in-Laws Jerry (Maureen) Ritsema, Ron (Marilyn) Ritsema, and John (Brigitte) Ritsema. His children Jeannie (Dave) Prindle, Dorothy (John) Cuchna, Tony Rogers (Anna), Missy (Doug) Warner, and Josh (Danielle) Dehaan. His Grandchildren; Ami Richter, Jeff (Danielle) Aguire, Corina (Chris) Faxon, Dave Rogers IV, Brandy (Chris) McElroy, Cody Cuchna, Josh (Justine) Rogers, Shawn Dehaan. His Great-grandchildren; Jason Richter, Jr., Kyla Jones, Eric Pompeo, Madison Pompeo, Alyssa Aguire, Megan Aguire, Kendalynn Guitierez, Ezekiel Guitierez, Quinton Guitierez, Azrael Uruchurtu, and Kassius McElroy. David was preceded in death by his parents, David Rodgers, Sr. and Hallie Beatrice Nash, his brother Frankie 'Sonny' Nash, his son David Rogers III, and his grandsons Trevor Cuchna and Jason Rogers.
