July 31, 2013 David E. Ostrowski, alias Big Dog Dave, passed away July 31, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Dave loved his family like no other. He will be missed by all of those who loved him. Dave leaves behind his wife Cheryl and two daughters, Marisa and Ashley; father and mother, Richard and Rose Ostrowski; brother, Bob (Barb), Ostrowski; little brother, Ron (Emily) Tyner; sisters, Julee (Frank) Verburg and Lisa Cox. Due to Dave's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family celebration of Dave's life. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Lacks Cancer Center. An education fund has been set up for the children. Donations to the education fund may sent to the family.
