David Floyd Nunn, of Greenville, Michigan passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at Helen DeVos Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 24, 1950 in Alma, Michigan the son of Howard and Emma Jane (Gwatkin) Nunn. He grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan and was a 1968 graduate of Harper Creek High School. He also attended Michigan State University and Kellogg Community College.
Dave joined the US Navy where he served as a medic. He moved to Greenville, Michigan upon discharge and worked for Gibson's Frigidaire for almost 25 years and a few years for Walmart before retiring.
David enjoyed crocheting blankets for his family members, hunting, and of course, bagging the occasional deer. He loved his family and his God and was a member of the Greenville Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stephen Nunn, His ex-wife Cindy (Jenson) Nunn and his great- granddaughter Vayda Vasquez.
Dave married Cindy (Jensen) and together they raised three girls who survive: Laura Galloway (Lee) Frisbie, Shawnerie Galloway, and Joni Schafer.
Also surviving are his brother Michael (Cindy) Nunn of Battle Creek and sisters Nancy (Mark) Watson of Jackson and Ellen (Jim) Cruickshank of Harrisonburg, Virginia; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and several grandchildren including his grandson, Sergio, who lived with David.

Plans for a memorial service to celebrate the life of David Nunn will be announced at a future date.
