March 13, 2014 David L Harris EdD - Dr. David L Harris age 76, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2014 after a brief illness. He is survived by his children, Chris (Leigh Ann) Harris, Debbie (Bob) Sullivan; grandchildren, Travis Harris, Tyler Harris and Jacob Brown; and a sister, Ellen VanTassel. Dr. Dave will be remembered for the lives he changed over his 45 year career as a counselor of adolescent teens. His life will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm and 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent in his name to the Humane Society.
