David L. Van Duinen, age 77, of Caledonia, MI, passed away peacefully on September 11th, 2021.
Dave loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was owner of Van Duinen Elevator Company for over 40 years.
Dave is survived by his son, David (Michelle) Van Duinen; daughter, Diane (Paul) McAllister; six granddaughters, Ashleigh (Brandon), Lindsey (Daniel), Emily, Kari, Briana, Allison; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan (Pat) Van Duinen, Phil (Pat) Van Duinen; in-laws, Chuck (Karol) Worm, Shirley (Bill) Nerli, Bob Serba, Hazel Marshall, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth and his parents Cornelius and Laura Van Duinen.
There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 until 4:00pm and 6:00 until 8:00pm on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508, the funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at Ofield Funeral Home. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
