David Martin Christenson, age 83 of Caledonia, MI, passed away peacefully at home September 2, 2026. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Marilyn, his son Nicholas (Christine), his sister Dianne DuBois, and his sweet dog Pippi.  He also leaves behind his extended family, Michael and Stevie Combs, Dan and Jen, Hannah and Natalie Combs, Kristen, Hearth and girls McKenna, Peyton, and Alayna, Derek and Heather Severson and children Brendan, Lauryn, Taylor, Brianna, and Kai. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Evelyn, his brother William Christenson, his first wife Sharon, mother of Nick, and his brother-in-law Scott DuBois. 

He was an Eagle Scout, proudly served in the United States Army 1969-1971, attended U.C. Berkeley with an A.B. Degree and UCLA with J.D. Degree. He was a corporate attorney and retired from Lockheed Martin Corp. as Vice President. 

Dave enjoyed writing, fly fishing, photography, boating, traveling, animals, camping, music, playing his saxophone, summers on Lake Michigan, and sports. 

He will be remembered for his humbleness, his kindness, patience, understanding, and his strength. 

Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia at a later date.
