David Harold Allen, age 70 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Hallmark Living Nursing Home. He was a family oriented, loving, and compassionate gentlemen. He enjoyed Nascar, dancing, and the outdoors. He spent most of his time developing his Landscaping business (D&L) in the Greater Holland Community with his wife. David was a Christian man who feared the Lord. He gave his life over to God earlier on in his life. He met his wife Elizabeth Lisa Morin Johnson 10 years ago. He fell in love with the love of his life on November 14, 2008. David was a loving husband, friend, and companion. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Hunting; his parents, Harold and Mary Allen; and brother-in-law, Denny Gillissen. He leaves to mourn his wife, Elizabeth Lisa (Morin) Johnson; his step daughter, Danielle Salas; his siblings, Wayne and Lynne Wright, Penny Gillissen, Barry and Kathy Allen; his siblings-in-law, Leonardo Morin Jr., Richard and Esmeralda Bergara, John and Diana Martinez, Leandro and Cynthia Morin, Cynthia Morin Diaz, Joe and Betty Perez, Shawn Embil, Jeff and Pat Barber; Jesse Morin, David Morin, and a host of loving nephews and nieces. A celebration of life is being held on Monday April 15, 2019 at 1pm at Chapel Hill 2894 Patterson Ave SE. Grand Rapids, Michigan 49512.
