Darrell, 52, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully at his home on Aug. 15, 2018. Darrell was born in Tawas City, Michigan, on December 20th, 1965. Darrell is survived by his son Austin Robinson of Zeeland, his girlfriend Linda Medina of Kentwood, mother Ruth Robinson, brother David (Patricia) Robinson, sister Connie Robinson, Cheryl (Scott) Hottois. Had nephews Daniel (Megan) Robinson, Rob (Carrie) Freeze, and Todd (Azure) Price. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Robinson and his grandparents. Darrell was a Central Michigan University graduate and Hale Schools, Hale MI. He worked with Grand Valley Metro Council, Grand Rapids, MI, for the past 25 years. He worked with many colleagues across Michigan in transportation and land use management. He work at W.M.S.R.D.C. in Muskegon, and before that at Bernards Lumber, Hale Mi. He most loved working with his father on the family crop and livestock farm. He spent much time in the outdoors during hunting season at the farm, with his family. He enjoyed talking cars, trucks, tractors and deer hunt stories. Attended garden tractor rally with friends. Attended Austin's sporting events with joy and pride for many years. He was a member of 4-H as a child, and Grand Rapids Jaycees actively. He loved his cats and animals. He was a very proud Dad. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church(1253 52nd st SE, Kentwood, MI) on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation prior from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, August 21st, at 1pm, at Reno Township Cemetery in Whittemore, Michigan.
