Daniel Earl Wheeler, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, surrounded by family. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of Homer Wheeler and Margaret (Heffner) on July 17, 1945. Dan attended Marion College (Indiana Wesleyan University) and graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry. He met his bride, Donna Hines at Marion College and married in 1966. Dan was a pastor in the West Michigan Wesleyan Church for 44 years. He loved God. He loved people. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved his family and taking his grandchildren fishing. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Donna (Hines) Wheeler; siblings, Beverly Coffey, Homer Wheeler (Sharon) and Larry Wheeler (Carolyn); daughters, Deborah Austin (Trevor), Dawn Miller, and Doreen Garmon (Chris); 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by foster son, Ron Davis (Pat); 4 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia Crawford, and brother-in-law, Keith Coffey. A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6 - 8 pm and Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 12 - 1 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1 pm. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Together Church, 2950 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, MI. 49509.
