Daniel Christopher Rose, age 42, entered into Heaven on Monday, March 7, 2016 after three long years of struggling with colon cancer. He was born in Battle Creek, MI to Todd and Elizabeth Rose. He moved to the Grand Rapids area where he met his soul mate, Heather, and graduated from East Kentwood High School. He is survived by his parents, his loving wife, Heather, their two sons Brandon and Hunter, one grandson Kaidyn and his brothers John (Natalie) and Michael, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dan worked for 20 years as a CNC Machinist for Evans Tool & Engineering and was truly a die hard Detroit Lions fan. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Mike Evans, and Faith Hospice for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children and grandsons or a charity of your choosing. In honor of Dan's wishes,cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Dan's life at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue on Saturday, March 12th at noon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
