March 10, 2013 Service: March 13, 2013 Daniel S. May Jr., age 82, of Kentwood, originally of Chicago, passed away March 10, 2013. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Mary May. He is survived by his children, Stephen and Judy May, Kathleen Neumann, Eileen May and Bob VanValzah, John and Karen Moran, and Anne and Karl Kresin; seven grandchildren, sister, Marilyn Lehmann. Daniel was a graduate of St. Mel High School and Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Marine Corps. He celebrated his pride in both the United States of America and Ireland by holding dual citizenship. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 13th at 10:30 in the chapel at St. Ann's Home, 2161 Leonard NW. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9-10:30am before the mass.
