Daniel Craig MacIntyre born in Bison, South Dakota, lived a full colorful life. Mac's father Dugald MacIntyre, D.O. died when Craig was 8 years old leaving his mother, Wilma, to raise his older brother Don plus three younger brothers, Todd, Scott and Dugald. Daughter Mandy Black, brother Dugald, nieces Killeen (MacIntyre) Dillon, Tiffany MacIntyre and nephew Brechen MacIntyre survive him.

"Mac" was always up for a challenge whether it be training horses, playing polo, high school wrestling (East GR high school), arm wrestling, weightlifting, canoe racing and Iron Worker Union I-beam speed climbing competition. He championed in each sport. Mac developed an enormous army of friends during his life, all of whom enjoyed him as the unique one of a kind individual that he was.

A celebration of Mac's life is scheduled to take place at 5073 Conklin Rd. Lowell, MI 49331 on May 14, 2022 from 1pm-5pm. Please notify Mac's friends and bring along "Mac's stories and memories" to share.

Members of The International Iron Workers will also commemorate Mac's life at the annual Festival at Mackinaw City the second week in August.

A memorial fund to assist apprentice Ironworkers has been set up in Mac's name. Please feel free to memorialize Mac by writing a check.
