Daniel B. Koopman, age 57 of Hudsonville, Michigan passed away peacefully under hospice care at Butterworth Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Dan was the son of Tom and Joyce (Brink) Koopman, born on November 18, 1966 in Zeeland, Michigan.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Joyce Koopman, brother in-law Ron Brooks and sister, Melinda Koopman. Dan is survived by his sister, Lori Brooks, brothers Doug (Cherie) Koopman, Greg (Shane) Koopman, brother in law Brian Kooman and many nieces and nephews.

Dan spent many of his working days as a crane operator for excavating companies and enjoyed running heavy equipment. Dan enjoyed traveling, going to spain, France, the Netherlands, and several times to the Dominican Republic. He was also an avid NASCAR racing fan.

A celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2024 with a visitation from 3:00pm-4:00pm and a memorial service starting at 4:00pm at 1st Christian Reformed Church of Hudsonville, 5486 32nd Ave. Hudsonville, Michigan 49426.
