Danh Kim Huynh, 92, of Kentwood, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Sa Dec, Vietnam on July 29, 1933, Danh immigrated to the United States in 1975, seeking new opportunities and a better life. Danh embodied resilience and strength by bridging two worlds together with love and dedication.

Beloved husband of 69 years of Quynh Thai. Dear father of Quy and Sau Tran, Duong Huynh, Lan Huynh and Loi Phan, Dung Huynh and Xuanlan Nguyen, and Diep Huynh and Kim Pham. Devoted grandfather of Steve Tran, Sylvia Tran, Shantel Tran, Danielle Huynh, Lorenzo Phan, Lindsey Phan, Lance Phan, Shawn Huynh, Shane Huynh, Sheehan Huynh, Shayla Huynh, Derrica Huynh, and Deandra Huynh. Proud great-grandfather Mai Huynh. Devoted brother and half brother of the late Cong Ngoc Huynh, Tina Huynh, Loc Huynh, Kim Huynh, Tai Huynh, and Kieu Huynh. Loving son of the late Tu Thien Huynh and Nhung Thi Nguyen, and son-in-law of the late Phan Van Thai and the late Minh Thi Phan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many loving family members and friends. The family of Danh Huynh extends heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Michigan.

Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, followed by cremation on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
