Dale Jones of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 62, passed away on December 30, 2020. He was born to Arland and Patricia Jones on April 9, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dale enjoyed being outdoors, often going on bike rides through Riverside Park, and taking walks on any of the Michigan beaches. He loved spending time with his friends and family, and thoroughly enjoyed going to the movie theater. He was full of pop culture and knowledge, a true trivia genius. He enjoyed reading and spent thousands of hours in the local libraries. He worked for Saint Mary's for 25 years, making memories and friends for life.

Dale is survived by his loving children Rachael Jones (Drew Hall) and Jacob (Angie) Jones; Granddaughter Addison Jones; Brother Rick (Sue) Jones.

Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife Julie Jones (Shook); Parents Arland and Patricia Jones (Brooks); and sister Kim.

The family would like to thank Mercy Health Saint Mary's for their care and compassion for them and Dale during their time in the hospital after his accident.

There will be a memorial visitation from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508. Cremation has taken place per Dale's request.
