Dale Edward Collins Jr, age 67 of Hopkins, MI unexpectedly was welcomed into the loving arms of his heavenly father on March 3, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born to Dale Edward Collins Sr, and Charlotte Joyce Collins on October 29,1953 in Muskegon, MI. Dale was preceded in death by his father's James Longieliere Sr and Dale Collins Sr, his brother David Longieliere, his nephew Ian and many aunts, uncles and grandparents. Dale is survived by his wife Debrah Collins of 44 years, his children Gerry Collins, Alice (Dan) Koster, Amy (Damian) Perez, Jeff (Liz) Collins along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his mother Charlotte Fisher, sister Desi (Bill) Raven, brother James (Kim) Longieliere Jr, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brother in law, nieces, nephews, and Buster.
Dale was a carpet installer for 38 years he traveled all over the U.S. for his work, working with and meeting many people. He was extremely close with many of his co workers, many whom became like family.
Dale had a heart of gold and was always there to help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed making people laugh and smile whether you were family, a friend or even a stranger. He was always telling jokes, or doing something silly to get you to laugh, He could create a nickname for anyone he met, and enjoyed doing it. He loved to hunt, fish (called them Big Juicy's), cook and at times would cook for an entire army. He loved more than anything spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching the birds, and squirrels making sure they never missed a meal. He was a die hard Lions and Michigan fan (Go Blue) and when they lost he would go bananas. His entire life he had a love for adventure and wouldn't let his age tell him he could not do something, like riding front row on valravn, or the Millennium Force and losing his sunglasses at Cedar Point. In his lifetime he has touched hundreds of lives and will be deeply missed by all and to all who knew him.
