Cindy Abrahams Bankes (61), of Fulton, TX, passed away peacefully in Grand Rapids, MI on February 28, 2021, after a struggle with cancer.

Cindy was born Sept 21, 1959, in Grant, MI, to Harry and Esther (nee Brummel) Abrahams, but called Texas home where she worked for many years as a landscape designer.

She was also active in local theater and a supporter of local artists in Rockport/Fulton, TX.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lorraine Sall. She is survived by brothers Dennis Abrahams of Casnovia, MI, and Kevin Abrahams of Grand Rapids, and sister Sheila Abrahams (Ted Hitchcock), of South Haven, as well as several nieces and nephews. Cindy also leaves behind an extended family of friends and loved ones in Texas.

Due to Covid19 restrictions no public memorial service is planned. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Pilots for Christ Michigan Chapter, 7746 W. 60th St, Fremont, MI, 49412, in gratitude for their transporting Cindy back to Michigan.
