Crystal Kay Walcott, age 73, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away at home on July 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones and family dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert B and Crystal E Walcott and her brother Willard B Walcott.

She is survived by her brothers Warren (Linda) Walcott and Wayne (Candice) Walcott, and many nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord God almighty, His son Jesus and the strong prayer life. Crystal was born without larynx nerve endings, thus a mute, she never let her physical challenges overcome her ever present smile and personal warmth to others. She loved all dogs and owned ten dogs in her lifetime. She made many friends while working in the Federal government, GSA, for 27 years. She loved to eat her grandmother's and mother's German home cooking.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Visitation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Mike Haefner officiating.

A private service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Crystal requested to be remembered by a memorial contribution to a no kill dog shelter of one's choice or to Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids, MI.
