What Would You Do?
Written June 28, 2026 by Craig A. Plude
What would you do if you knew
You only had a day left to live?
Me, I would spend it in your arms
Tell you what I thought of you in my life.
Me, I would hold you and keep you precious to me
Knowing that my last thought, my last feeling,
And my last heartbeat was thinking of you.
I would pray every second that I spent
With you was precious to you.
And you would always remember who I was
And how much you truly meant to me.
Through it all, I would know that my last
Breath was in your arms, in your
Heart and in your life was always love.
This is my last wish, my last
Thought, and my last dream.
