Craig L. Dean passed away at Rose Arbor hospice center in Kalamazoo on June 4, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. Craig was born on October 9, 1954 in Kalamazoo to Leo and Delores (Delobel) Dean. He graduated from Portage Central High School in 1972 and went on to become employed in the plumbing industry and then eventually at KVCC. He is survived by his mother, sister Karen (Jeff) Carlsen, brother Scott (girlfriend Lou Harpe), a nephew, 2 nieces and many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Terri Craft. At his request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Craig's life will take place at a future date. The family wishes to thank Rose Arbor and its staff (particularly Amy) for their comfort and care of our beloved son and brother. Donations in Craig's name may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice.
