Craig Everett Bowen of Elk Rapids Michigan, passed away on May 29, 2022, at age 62. He was born August 12, 1959 and is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Shirley Bowen.
Craig loved playing golf, fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley-Davison Motorcycle, however, his favorite past time was spending time with his family and two adorable grandchildren. Craig was also very active with his local AA group and volunteered numerous hours to help others. Helping others was a way of life for Craig, whether helping family, friends or neighbors with home improvement projects or building a ramp for someone in a wheelchair, he was always willing to roll up his sleeves and help anyone in need.
Craig was the proud father of two sons Josh Bowen (Kelsey), and Travis Bowen (Lauren), and two grandsons Judah Everett Bowen and Simeon William Bowen. He also has an older brother Jim, Jr. (Sandy), and a younger brother Kurt (Barbara). His loving family also includes nieces, Lindsay Santilli (Rico), Mikayla Bowen, Jamie Zakusylo (Alex), Roxanne LaSusa (Frank), Erin Schilling (Nick), and a nephew, Kyle Bowen (Megan).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 11:00 am.
