Corky Scott Miller, affectionately known as Scott, born on August 3, 1980, and passed away on October 21, 2023 after a long battle with a lung disease. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Miller. He is survived by his fiancée, Kylie Budreau, his mother, Sandra Burgess (Miller), his sisters, Charlotte Wilcome (Miller), Reberta Clark (Miller), and Autumn Miller, and his brother, Greg Miller. Scott was also an uncle to Jameson Wilcome and Addy Wilcome.
Scott had a generous spirit and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a special bond with his pet rabbit, Lola, showing a softer side that he held dear.
Throughout his life, Scott explored various professions, from teaching English to working as a painter. He even had a stint as a "Carnie," demonstrating his adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace new experiences.
Scott was known for his ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making friends easily wherever he went. He had a talent for storytelling, entertaining those around him with his creative tales. Scott was known as "Mr. Fix It" by his friends, a nickname that reflected his passion for tinkering with things. He had an innate ability to take objects apart and put them back together, and he especially loved gadgets.
Scott's teen years and early adulthood were spent with his family in Honduras, an experience that left a profound impact on his life. He cherished the friends he made there and often spoke fondly of his time in the country.
Scott lived life authentically and unapologetically, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. While we grieve his loss, we also celebrate his unique and vibrant life. In our memories and the stories we share, Scott's spirit will live on.
