Connie passed away at Borgess Hospital with family by her side after a short battle with Covid related complications.

Connie was born Oct. 7, 1952 to Paul and Evelyn Tooker in Allegan, MI. She was the first of three children. She was preceded in death by her father Paul and survived by her mother Evelyn and two siblings. Jan (Dean) Hobbs and Dennis Tooker.

Connie attended Allegan High School where she participated in Track/Field and also basketball.

On Nov. 7, 1970 Connie married Gary Germain whom she is survived by. Together they raised three children: Randy Germain, Kevin (Amy) Germain and Merri (Brent) Berner who are also surviving. Connie loved her grandchildren Klaire Germain, Lena Germain and Enzo Berner.

Connie was a talented artist. She had many ways that she expressed her amazing ability to create. From the many crocheting, knitting, and painting projects to refinishing furniture and many more. She could do it all. While farming with her husband over their 51 years of marriage she was a strong and equal partner. She was a lover of all animals and shared her special affinity for horses with her two granddaughers. Connie was also very talented with growing flowers and would share them with others. Connie began driving school bus in 1994 for Allegan Public Schools. She loved the interaction she had with the many students, faculty and co-workers.

According to Connie's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later time yet to be determined. Service Details.
