Collyn J. Austin, age 22, of Kentwood, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

He was born on January 16, 2002, in Grand Rapids, to April Louise Austin.  He attended East Kentwood High School and graduated in 2020.  He had a passion for motorsports and cars.  Together with his friends, he helped create a car club called the Elegant. Vehicle. Association (E.V.A).  He loved and cared deeply for his family and his friends.

Collyn will be deeply missed by his siblings: Noah and Mikah; grandparents: Paul (Mary) Swidwa and Diane Austin; stepdad, Brian Mason; as well as many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mom, April, who he loved with every piece of his heart.

A time of visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Sean Kidd officiating.  There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
