With deep sorrow, we announce that Colleen Gail Kleinsteiber passed away on May 31, 2021 peacefully at the home of her daughter Kristy.

Colleen was born in Grand Rapids, MI on July 16, 1962. She traveled in her younger years but continued to call Michigan home, to be near her family.

Colleen was a brave soul who battled many trials in life, but always approached them with a smile on her face. She was a loving mother, daughter, friend, and sibling. She had a love of music that was apparent as she hummed her way around or sang along with the radio. Singing, socializing, cooking and laughing were four important pillars of Colleen's earthly existence.

She will forever be missed by her family and friends including Father Russell Osbun, daughter Kristy Kleinstieber, son Rob Kleinsteiber III, sister Sheryl Dunlap (Marc), brother Rick Osbun (Lois), brother Mike Osbun (Dorey), brother Steven Osbun, significant other Jerry Borgeld, granddaughter Adriana Kleinsteiber, and many loving family members.

Colleen lived her life and fought her last challenge with strength, stubborn determination, and feistiness, and we will treasure the memory of her life.

Colleen was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Osbun (Rice).

A graveside Committal Service will be held at the Plainfield Cemetery on July 16, 2021 at 11AM. Friends and family are encouraged to come at 10:30am to gather in remembrance and are invited to join the family for a luncheon at Our Lady Of Consolation Parish at 12pm immediately following her burial.
