IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifton Ernest
Chandler
July 21, 1930 – January 24, 2026
Our father Clifton E. Chandler passed away peacefully early Saturday morning on January 24, 2026, with his family by his bedside. Our father was a man who lived life, yet generous to his family and friends. He had a candid ability to show God’s love by not being judgmental and accepting individuals where they were in life. He served two years in the Army due to a medical condition he was Honorably Discharged. He loved watching military movies, military documentaries, as well as old black and white westerns.
Our father’s hobbies were golf, puzzles, traveling, and most of all bowling. He was an avid bowler and accomplished to score 300 four times. He enjoyed giving instructions on how one could improve their game. A man of few words as he made his way to the bowling aisle to blast every pin away like an explosion with precision. When he was no longer able to bowl, he focused on another talent of putting a1000 piece puzzle together with patience and diligence.
He leaves behind many cherished memories. His family and friends will deeply miss him. Children: William, Faye, and Ernest; grandchildren; Anika, Richard, Fatima and great grandchildren: Sienna, Ava, and Jackson, and host of nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to my husband Curtis McGhee, who demonstrated patience and unlimited understanding. Thank you, Holly, for your support and being there for my son Richard. Thank you, Anika, for caring for dad while you strongly encourage me to take a vacation. Thank you, Bill, for talking to dad when there were times he didn’t want to listen to the medical instructions. Thank you, cousin, Pastor George and Debbie Davis, for making his last day a special day of laughter and prayer.
Thank you, Stephanie White; Sandii from Seniors Helping Seniors; Laurie from MFB, Wyoming VA Blue Team.

We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.
Per Clifton's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
